Hi, i just want tobe on the safe side here. Can i plug anything in a usb mains charger. What i want to do is plug a 2.0 speakers that has a usb on it. I want to plug it into a usb plug charger into wall outlet , if i do this will it work?

Solution
Do those speakers have analog/bluetooth input and use USB only for power? If they are USB-based DACs, you nee the data connection to actually use them.

If they are simply USB-powered speakers, then any 5V adapter with sufficient output current should work. The main problem here is that just like PC PSUs, there are many crappy 5V adapters out there.
