Hi, I've started making a plan on what is going to be inside of my new computer. But when i was researching the RAM, i said that it was compatible with Intel LGA 1155 processors, however i chose an Intel LGA 1150 processor.

Does the RAM i chose need to support the CPU as well as the Motherboard or just the motherboard?

The RAM i chose: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820231460

The Processor i chose: http://www.amazon.com/Intel-i5-4430-Quad-Core-Desktop-Processor/dp/B00CO8T9VC?SubscriptionId=AKIAIEF7KZG4SSIJ7QQA&tag=toms_shopping_cpu-20&linkCode=xm2&camp=2025&creative=165953&creativeASIN=B00CO8T9VC&ascsubtag=[site|thaus[cat|cpus[art|3106-2[pid|B00CO8T9VC[tid|1413819047143490706[bbc|shopping_cpu

The Motherboard i chose: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813132117&nm_mc=AFC-C8Junction&cm_mmc=AFC-C8Junction-_-na-_-na-_-na&cm_sp=&AID=10446076&PID=6146831&SID=1l0vdf3pc8a3w

Thanks in advance!

You don;t need a Z97 motherboard if you using a nonoverclockable cpu. It would be a waste.
Either get a i5 4690k or get a H97 motherboard and a wifi adapter card/usb if you want wifi.

The ram is fine to use and is compatible with Intel 9 series motherboards.

Would this be fine for the build?

BTW, sorry, i didn't realise that i couldn't overclock the CPU.

Yes that cpu is overclockable with the motherboard. You will want an aftermarket cpu cooler as well.

Yeah, some reviews have said that the stock cooler for the i5-4690k sucks, they have recommended using the Hyper 212 cooler fan, would you agree?
