GTX 970 Coil Whine

Hello!

So after watching videos on youtube i noticed ALOT of people get coil whines on GPU and PSU with GTX 970 particularly with Seasonic M12II-620

Does anyone have any experice in this matter or know why that might be?

I myself just installed S12II-620 and waiting for my GTX 970, should i return my PSU and get another one?

It's this, bud, I used to test "Shadow of Mordor". When I reduce the FPS to 30 the sound gone. So I've decided to change the GPU for my old one radeon 9750 to check if there is some similar sound. I played in a very good quality (high) and SILENT. Silent as the night.

I read several people telling about the noise the GTX 970/980 does like I hear about people that they GPU is silent too.
The solution: I RMA and I hope the send me a quiet one.

to close this thread...I just installed my MSI Gtx 970. it has a slight coil whine under load BUT unable to hear it with side panel closed (i have a case with sound reducing plates). I tried with both fps limiter at 60fps and without and it doesn't affect at all. The whine is all though nowhere has high as what i'v seen on youtube, it's a "small ticking sound" that's not noticeable with panel closed.
I guess i'm very lucky with my card. Both of my fans work too (it has also been an issue with MSI). This card is a keeper, i get 120fps on Heaven Benchamark with max settings.
