More about wont detect gpu
  1. Does it work during POST and then stop working when windows trys to load or does it not work at all?
  2. It is running. its fan is spinning, the display output is from the gpu. but pc doesnt detect it.
  3. You may need to connect your monitor to the motherboard graphics port and go into the BIOS and manually set the GPU default setting to PCI or PEG, then shut down, switch to the cards output and restart.

That's not what I asked. Is there anything, at any point, on the screen?
  5. im kind of a noob here. can you explain me what exactly i have to do?
  6. Just leave the card installed, or remove it, and connect using the onboard graphics meaning the connector on the back of your motherboard to see if it displays.
  7. i did it earlier. there was a black screen saying (please connect display output to this PCI(E) card), somethin like that.
  8. Your motherboard has a DVI output for use with the integrated graphics of the CPU you can use to try and solve the issue in the BIOS.
