Low gpu temp but high fan use

Hey!

I just changed to Gigabyte R9 280 GPU

The catalyst shows that i don't have much GPU usage nor do i have temp but my fans are going about 45-50 % almost at all times.

my mb is : asus p8h67

Yes, all of the ones that were produced using Rivatuner. I personally use MSI Afterburner to control my fan speeds and OC my card. you can make custom fans curves to slow down or speed up the fan to what ever speed you want at what temp you want.

You said the fan did not drop speed so I mentioned the CCC. This if set to manual sets it to one speed only. This is why I mentioned it to see if you accidentally turned it on.

I haven't and it works that way but i would prefer if it would be automatic since i tend to jump in from game to another often and chill in interwebs for a while in between.

Does any of those programs have automatic fan control ?
