ok so i have an older desktop that i want to get into good working order again. My issue is that my GPU overheats whenever i do anything graphically demanding. now the reason its overheating is because the fan does not spin at all and i think its just not getting enough power from my MOBO. I thought it was the GPU but i bought a brand new one like it and it did the same thing. Now i cant find a replacement for my current mobo an M4A785-M. Can anyone recommend a good replacement for this mobo?

You need to try and find the same board with the same BIoS for it to be compatible with your OS install. A different board may boot, but won't work well without a fresh install. I did see some on eBay for less than 60 bucks.
