Crossfire please help!

Hello there guys I've just set up my new PC and I've got dual R9 290 Tri-x and I was wondering if it's possible to enable CrossfireX on Minecraft.

Mimecraft to my knowledge does not support Crossfire so no. It doesn't matter anyway since it's not a GPU intensive game at all and Crossfire is not needed; even with those fancy shader mods.

To enable Crossfire, you just go into the Catalyst Control Center and enable it there. (it should be enabled by default anyway)

Oh ok because I'm running on a 4K display and I'd just like to get that better FPS for Shaders and whenever I seem to record the fram rate drops from around 100-200 to 20-40.

And I've started playing Minecraft alot since I'm waiting for all the new games to come out, while i'm playing minecraft my second card is still running and my main card can sometimes hit up to 80C should I take the second card out till I use it or will the cards be fine?

Yes sorry I did mean the 4790k and no it's not overclocked I'm not sure how to.
