For some reason I get much lower fps on the same resolution screen, although I have two.
This includes games like battlefield 4 were I used to get 40-50 fps I know get 20-30 sometimes if I am lucky 40, other games include cs go, Garry's mod etc. The strange thing was is that it is fine on farcry 3 and metro last light etc. Please help!!!

I would try uninstalling and then reinstalling the graphics driver. I would also go under settings and make sure everything is adjusted properly for the monitor just to be sure. Then I would test again from there to see if you get the same frame rates.

Battlefield 4 is a very graphically intensive game. Far Cry 3 is not near as taxing. If your monitor only has a 60Hz refresh rate, then you will never show more than 60 frames per second. If you are running two monitors on one graphics card instead of one, it will make your graphics card work harder to render two monitors instead of one and will be more taxing to the system itself. So maybe the graphics card is powerful enough to run less graphically intensive games and max them out at 60 frames per second even on two monitors, while Battlefield 4 is a demanding enough game for one monitor, let alone two, and is thus the cause of decreased performance.

If you want to increase your performance on two monitors, Get either a more powerful single graphics card or run more than one graphics card together.

Thank you for the response but no I am running it on one screen with a EVGA gtx 760 and a Intel i3 4160, not the bestest of processors but I used to get 40-50 fps and the second I got my new monitor i get much lower.

Does that mean that if you have two monitors plugged in through dvi one on a game and one on your desktop you would achieve lower fps than if you were to only have one monitor playing a game (only one monitor plugged in).
