Is there any legitimate way to download a Windows 7 ISO to put on a flash drive?

I recently bought a new PC-case and am not using my CD-Rom in my new case and I've thrown away my old CD-rom drive.

So I'm wondering if there is any legitimate way of downloading a windows 7 ISO to put on a flash drive.

My intention is to format my computer, and I'm assuming I'll need to boot from a flash drive.

One more question.

I only have USB 3.0 connections, will that be a problem when booting?

All my USB connections are at least that signature "blue" 3.0 color.

The Windows 7 installer does not support USB 3.0. If your PC doesn't have any 2.0 ports then there's usually a setting in BIOS that will put the ports in 1.1/2.0 mode. You can switch back after completing the installation.
