Hi guys this is my system specs

-i5 4690 3.5ghz
-GTX 970 strix
-8GB RAM
-Asrock h97 pro 4
-XFX 550W 80+ BRONZE CERTIFIED

Am I able to safely OC my GPU ? and by how much?

ok cool, btw does anyone know why I'm only using 3.5GB of my 4GB VRAM on my card? it says in msi afterburner im using 3.5GB and in unigine it says im only using 3.5GB as well?

Because Nvidia skimps on their memory buses. The 256-bit bus will bottleneck your total VRAM usage unless you OC the memory. The Titans had this problem as well
