Intel E5200 with MB43TF with Linux

Found a PC with Intel MOBODP43TF and CPU E5200. Curious if I can plug new hard drive in and install and run linux. Never used Linux before.

Quick look on intel website shows official linux support as 'limited'. Having said that it looks like a standard P43 chipset reference board, so yes, Linux will install perfectly.

I suggest Mint

Yes it will work just fine you don't even need a hard drive, you can run Linux off a flash drive or cd rom (system will be read only with cdrom).

Of course you will probably want some kind of graphics card...
