GTX 970 strix OC settings

Hi guys Im using MSI afterburner for OC'ng my strix

power limit - 120%
fan speed - 50
memory clock 4000 MHZ
core clock - 1376 max
MAX gpu temperature under load - 60C

Just wanna check with everyone if this is safe and ok for my GPU ?

In MSI Afterburner, I would run...

No change in voltage.
Power Limit 110%
Fan Speed Auto
Core Clock +140
Memory Clock +500

That will give you a baseclock of 1254, A boost of 1393, Actual 1506, and Memory 8GHz

I did my MSI at +87v, +200 core, +250 mem.

Not sure if hat helps at all though.

I would think that you would get more out of a memory boost than a higher core clock. But your temperatures seem safe. Have you run Furmark with those settings yet?

my GPU was only using 62% max in bf3 maxed out is this normal?

What resolution do you game on? BF3 can be very CPU intensive aside from GPU intensive so some of the workload could have been offset there.
