Network Adapter Trouble

I have an Asus P6X58D-E motherboard with a Marvell Yukon Ethernet Adapter, running Win 7 Home 64 bit. The problem that I'm running into is, Windows is saying "network adapter driver not found", so I downloaded the driver from the Asus website, and when I attempt to install it I am getting a message that says "a newer version is installed."

This makes absolutely no sense.

Thanks for the help.

first make sure that you are downloading the latest version. Go to device manager>Network Adapters there go to properties of network adapter see the Manufacturer if its windows that means drivers are installed by windows u can uninstall the driver by right clicking on network adapter and uninstall than u need to install the driver you downloaded from vendor's site.
