So I've decided on the parts I want and I want to be sure that they're compatible or if I can get something better for the same price. My budget is 650$ and I will use this build for gaming.I plan on overclocking the cpu to 4.0-4.5GHz and want to be sure that the motherboard will be fine.In case any of you are wondering about the price of the MOBO,I'm buying some of the parts from Microcenter and I just put the tax as the MOBO's price. If anyone could help me I'd really appreciate it.Link to build http://pcpartpicker.com/user/PalTheCow/saved/YNKscf

The gemini is too small and wont handle the processors heat so thats not an option

The Hyper 212 tower wont do well either for the reason I have given . MB's tend to run a little hotter under tower coolers than they do with stock coolers because they dont send any air flow over the board its self .
Unfortunately the good scythe downdraft coolers dont seem to...
All AMD micro ATX motherboards use a cheaper older chipset . Usually the 760G which was not intended to be used with FX processors .
If you try OCing to 4,5 Ghz on that mb you will have problems [ like it melting or burning ] , or a vastly shortened board life if you can get some excellent cooling on the VRM's.

Bigger heatsinks on the VRM's and a downdraft cooler that blows air over the mb components might make it all work

Thanks for telling me this, would overclocking to 4.1 or 4.2 GHz be pushing it?I wanted to know because I want to be sure that the FX-6300 won't bottleneck the 770.

Stick with the Hyper EVO 212 unless you can upgrade to a Noctua NH-D14 or a Corsair H100i. The 212 is an excellent cooler and anything close in price is probably not as good or the difference isn't significant enough to justify the higher price tag.

If you use the 212 you could add a bent alloy plate to direct air down over the vrms . That would be the cheapest option
