HP Pavilion g7t-7000
Was working fine, but wanted a fresh clean install without the HP added crapware.

I formatted the drive with Mini Tool partition Wizard boot cd. (And this program can detect the drive just fine)

Through windows installation I tried "Disk part" "Disk List" and it only detected a USB drive.

Tried to give the installation drivers through that menu but it didn't recognize them either.

I've installed windows 7 onto the drive from a different computer, stuck back into laptop & it doesn't see an installation or a drive still...

I have one or two more ideas but they aren't the best.

1. Try to make the "recovery" drive the main active drive & install windows on this 20gb space
2. Use a live CD and flash BIOS (It's a .exe so only doable through Windows) & hope it has the drivers needed for the HD
2. Mess with Raid settings through Partition Wizard (I think the back-up & main HD came with some sort of raid settings, so maybe without them it doesn't work at all??) -- No Raid settings through BIOS.

In BIOS I can only modify:
Time
Date
Boot Order

There is almost no options to mess with through BIOS... So I can't do much from there. (f10 +A doesn't unlock advanced mode either)

So any ideas would be awesome! I'm pretty stumped at this point, haven't had much of an issue installing Windows 7 on a computer that already had Windows 7 on it... Win8-->Win7 I've had a few hick-ups but nothing like this!

Didnt try floppy, & did reset bios. I downloaded all the drivers from HP stuck them all on a jump drive but it didn't recognize any as certified... so I'll try from the intel site maybe that will work... I'll post back again tonight.
