hi guys,
So i have a sdd and a hdd. My ssd is for booting and my hdd is for storing.

So when I do malware/virus scans, it doesnt give me an option to choose. Does it scan my boot drive (SSD) or my storage drive (HDD)? Or does it automatically scan both?

Thankyou in Advance! :)

Anti-virus utilities usually scan all installed drives. There are some setup choices that allow a user to select just one drive or certain types of files for anti-virus scanning. You would have to manually change the settings to scan just one drive or one type of file.

You did not specify which anti-virus utility you used. Mine has a small window that stays open during scanning. It shows which drive and which files are being scanned. Other anti-virus utilities may or may not show what is being scanned.

Sorry I forgot to mention my cleaners. I usually use MalwareBytes, CCcleaner, and SuperAntiSpyware... All of these scans do not allow me to choose which drive to choose, so if you are correct, then I can assume that it is cleaning all drives then.
