You sure you have the card fully seated? There's no way it shouldn't fit. THAT'S what the card is for is your setup. Images of the case show it with full height cards installed as well as liquid cooling radiators. If a 240mm radiator can fit a GPU intended for mini-ITX cases should be able to.
I am 100% sure. Returned my asus gtx970 today. It worked and the latch had closed and the metal bracket was in the right position. The heatpipe will hit the window of the corsair 240 air. Besides, look at how much the strix is sticking out over the metal bracket. I don't think a sli bridge would have fit eighter.
Going with gigabyte instead as it seems to be lower. I also had a 240 radiator in the front, no problem(with one set of fans). The length is not a problem, the height is. I would post a picture but I can't get it to work on a ipad.
