The most I can spend on a motherboard is $100. Also is a

quality/overclockable motherboard needed to overclock my GPU, which is an AMD r9 280?

For overclocking R9 280 , you need extra watts from the PSU .

MSI R9 280 is cheaper . 600W is enough PSU for R9 280 .

i would get this PSU , Haswell ready

I had chosen that gpu for the discount/rebate, but it ended before I could put a build together.
