I am building a new system, and I am keeping my previous graphics card. If it matters, it is an ATI Radeon HD 7950 2GB and the power connector on the card is 6 + 6. Looking through all the cables with my new power supply, there is only a 6 + 2....I have search some on various sites and cannot find a PSU with a cable that is 6 + 6 for a PCI-E. Do I need to find a power supply with a
6 +6?

Solution
No, the Corsair CX430M only has one PCI connector. The one I linked to has two. The 6 and 6+2 will satisfy your power needs, like I said. You can remove the additional two pins on the end. They are there for units that need an 8 pin connector but if you need 2 6 pins you can remove the two end pins. They should just snap right off. They are made to do that so they don't have to add a bunch of extra cables or have more model numbers with different configurations.
This, and most ATX PSUs, has a 6 pin PCI and a 6+2 pin PCI power plug. Yours may be a cheap model, no offense, it's quite common, that is simply not intended for a higher end card, more likely for an entry level pre-built unit or included with a budget case.

What's wrong with the one Darkbreeze linked you to?

Oh, so I will use both the 6 and the 6+2 but not attach the 2....ok, I get it. I had a Silverstar 500W and that was working fine but I have to give it to my son for his graphics card. On the Silverstar, the 6 and the 6+2 were braided together and plugged into the same socket on the PSU. Will the XFX be like that?

You can see the images here and if you look on the left side of the image you'll see the two PCI plugs.
