Is this psu compatible for my motherboard

I am looking to buy a Corsair VS550 550 Watt PSU,so will it fit perfectly with my rig?
intel I5 4670 @3.4 Ghz,
GA-H81M-S1 motherboard,
6 gb ram,
gtx 750 1 gb gddr5,
hdd (sata),
dvd writer,
Is it compatible to my motherboard?or i dont have to worry about anything before buying it?

Yes it's compatoble with the components. The major worry is about quality, it's crap quality. Do not get VS/ CX/ builder series from Corsair, they all have cheap caps. What other options are available to you?

Yes it's all compatible, and it's plenty wattage wise. You can use full 450W. Technically, 18A each on 12V1 and 12V2.

12V lines are the Voltage lines from where all the main components get their power. The formula for power (in watts) is Ampere*Voltage. So 18A*12V=216W, but the wattage from different 12V rails simply don't add up. In this particular unit, the max Amperage is 30A or 360W, from 12V lines.

on 12V line yes. On VS, 504W max, it'll fait long before it provides that.

Yes. But what I'm trying to tell you is that VS will not give out 504W, it'll fail long before that, it's crap quality and the caps used will melt before it can provide stable supply on high loads.
