im buying a new PC and i cant decide wich motherboard should i take for this card, any suggestions of something cheat and good? (and in the right size for the card)

Solution
Actually, if you plan to oc, then z97 chipsets work better.

I see now you want to oc the gpu. Then yes a h97 chipset mobo is enough for you but if you plan to oc the cpu later, i would consider a z97 one.

Hi there,

Any z97 mobo will do, good manufacturers are asrock, asus, gigabyte, msi, etc... You really can't go wrong with any of them.

Oh yeah and size does not matter for your video card, as long as it has a pci slot :)

You do not need Z97 unless you are planning to OC the CPU. Graphics cards can be overclocked on ANY motherboard and does not require any specific function from the mobo.

H97 is more than good enough if the OP does not plan on overclocking the CPU (since he CAN'T with that non-k CPU) or running SLI/crossifre.
