Hi guys,

Planning on getting a new graphics card, right now I have the Asus r9 270 2GB and what to upgrade to a Asus GTX 970. I currently have an Asrock 970 Pro3 2.0 and was wondering if the 970 is compatible with this motherboard. My alternative to this card is the gigabyte r9 290x windforcce. Could you please tell me which is a better graphics card and tell me what frames it would get on games like dayz standalone, bf4 and tomb raider

The noctua is a very good cooler indeed but you can look at these 2 option to:
Phanteks PH-TC14PE and the Phanteks PH-TC12DX.

Both are just as good as the Noctua`s and they look alot better because you can get these in many colors :)

It will be compatible, any modern pcie graphics card will work with both pcie 2.0 and the amd 970 chipset. What's more pressing is whether you have enough room in your case and a powerful enough psu which I assume you have. Make sure to update your motherboard's bios when you install a new graphics card as well, there are plenty of instructionals online just google "update motherboard bios."

Ok thanks. Well I have a Antec GX700 case so I'm sure that would have enough space because it's a medium sized case ATX. The power supply wattage is 625 which is enough because I checked on a table the amount of wattage needed. Another question this isn't related to Graphics Cards. I have an Amd FX-6300 and was wondering if a noctua nh-d15 would be a good cooler, I'm not overclocking but would just like a quite cpu cooler for a minimal price. Any suggestions for other coolers please list them.
