I am using Sony F series laptop with window 8 which is legal version of windows os. I am having D-Link ADSL router and using it since 1 year.
My laptop was working fine with this router initially. I connect all the wifi devices to this router. But suddenly I am experiencing problem with my wifi connection. My laptop is showing wifi connection status as connected with internet access to it. But it doesn't update my anti virus as well as I am unable to open any website from any browser.
When i connect same laptop with ethernet cablethen it is connecting as well as I can browse or download stuffs on intenet.

Other wifi devices are still working properly with same setting and router. But my laptop is showing this problem since many days. I also checked firewall setting in my laptop as well as antivirus.
I updated my wifi driver. Re installed it as well as set all the connection parameters. But still it is showing me status as connected but I cannot access internet still it shows available internet access status. please help me out. tried everything. Is there any way?

Solution
Please do the following to get us some diagnostic information we can use to better determine what is happening:

Open Command Prompt.
In the command prompt, enter the following command (without the quotes) "ipconfig /all"
Copy and paste the results here.
This will output the connection information for every active network connection on the PC so that we can check for certain types of errors or issues that commonly cause problems like what you've described.
