Hello intelligent fellas!
I recently performed a clean installation of windows 7 pro from windows 8. After the installation i plugged my USB pen drive which has all the important drivers and softwares in my laptop but it looks like it cannot read anything from it! How can i fix this problem?
Hope you can help and thank you in advance!

clean install you need to install the intel or amd motherboard chipset drivers first then look from the laptop vendor to see if they have 3 party usb chipset hub. if your going to keep using windows 7 on the laptop use a program and make a new windows 7 slipstream iso and slipstream all of the drivers into a new iso image then put it on a usb stick.

You can borrow someone pc or friends. OR
Laptop nowadays are provided with OS, it should have a recovery partition that can be used for reset to factory default... then reinstall OS... Try repeated hitting of F11... If you can tell us your laptop brand and model may we help further.

Thanks abmario my laptop model is g4-2122TU and product key is C5H77PA#UUF. Well another idea popped in my head, If I use another pc or a laptop to burn the contents that my pen drive has into a cd and then use the cd to install all the drivers in my laptop...Well okay what do you suggest?

Welcome.... But before using other pc and your plan maybe you wanna try this.

You got HP Pavilion but this also applies to Compaq Factory Reset Instructions. Hope the "HP Recovery" partition still exists on the hard drive:

- Turn ON your system... Before or once you see the manufacturer's logo PRESS F11 key repeatedly until the recovery screen appears.
- There should get you to the Recovery Manager, you can access the recovery partition on the hard drive, a prompt to backup the user files before beginning the recovery is displayed. Just follow any on-screen instructions.

If the HP Recovery Manager cannot access the hard drive to fix any system errors, then you can proceed with you plan and use another pc.
All you need for a moment is at least is to install you windows (follow the instructions on the link i gave earlier), once windows installed you may go ahead with drivers installation on your USB.
