I currently am using a HDD for storage and am considering getting a high capacity SSD to replace it and keep my HDD for backups. I was wondering if anyone would be able to point me in the direction of affordable and reliable SSDs which are suitable for me. I have tried looking myself but would rather get the opinion of someone with more knowledge and experience. Thank you in advance.

Samsung SSDs are reliable and best choice but quite expensive.. Crucial M500 and PNY XLR8 are budget SSD but reliable. I have them both in different pc for system files, so far so good.
But use SSD for back up would not be practical, HDD is also reliable when it comes to storage.
