EVGA 970 vs Gigabyte G1 gtx 970

The biggest complaint about the EVGA models is the high fan speeds. Turn down the fan speeds in EVGA Precision X and the problem is fixed. My 970 SSC rarely exceeds 70°C when the fan speed runs at 50% max, so the cooling is still decent.

I would say EVGA as they make brilliant quality products. It has a great reputation and are very well rated manufacturer for Nvidia GPU. Gigabyte also make very good products.

Stay away from the EVGA....I bought a gigabyte g1.....then bought an EVGA gtx 970 cause I cant find the gigabyte in stock anywhere...the EVGA wont even overclock half of what the gigabyte does...not to mention it wont even recognize it in SLI.
