I want to downclock this kit to bus 1600, but I have to clue how and what to adjust (CL / Voltage / Everything)
I hope that someone can help me with this. Thank you
Btw, I use mobo Gigabyte B85M-D3H and Core I5 4460

Solution
JEDEC #6 11.0-11-11-28-39 @ 800 MHz
Nominal Voltage 1.50 Volts

set the timmings to 11-11-11-28-39 and the voltage to 1.5 volts. Set teh ram speed 800 MHz OR 1600 MHz depending on how your bios displays the speed. since DDR stands for double data rate you multiply the speed by 2. SO 800 * 2 = 1600.

once you are able to boot I suggest you run memtest86+ for a minimum of 6 passes 11 is preferred to say you are stable. If you want more speed you can try lowering the cas down to 10 and retest to see if you are still stable and so on.

Old thread but not sure if you ever got your answer and if anyone else goes searching for a solution similar, well - I like people to be informed. I'm a fan of a program called SPECCY to see system info, including RAM timings. I used to use CPU-Z but in my opinion this program is superior.

https://www.piriform.com/speccy

Once you install it, you can click the word RAM and then click "Slot #" to see the timings table.

Your bios may allow you to set the XMP Profile. Some will not, due to the manufacture forsaking updating the motherboard.
