Limited access/No access internet

Hello! I have had this problem for a week now, I can't access internet anywhere with my laptop. Whenever i go it says 'Limited access', and at home is 'No internet access'. I had no problems at all before. I have tried a lot of things i found on the internet such us Disable/Enable the network adapter and installing the wireless driver again for instance. I really don't know what else to try. However I can connect completely fine with other devices.
My laptop model is a Toshiba Satellite C55-A-1NU, came with no drivers so I had them installed. The wireless driver is Atheros AR956x Wireless Network Adapter and I use Windows 7. I can see all the networks but cannot connect to them. I am looking forward for a response, Thank you!

Get a hold of the latest drivers first. Un-install the adapter in device manager. If asked to delete the software, say yes. Re-boot install the latest drivers which you have already downloaded and see what happens.

A windows update probably screwed things up. Happens all of the time.

At network and sharing screen, on the left column theres manage wireless connection..

Delete all saved connections, then re seach for wireless networks, retype the password.

Do you have any other laptop or computer that can connect to the wireless network?

Basically your gonna copy the ipv4, gateway dns and other settings.

Try doing a system restore to before this happend

No I don't have other laptops. I tried with the restore but I could only choose today's update restore point. I tried with that but it gave me an error. Right now I'm doing a back-up because apparently I deleted a wrong driver and I cannot connect to my cable anymore. Hope this will help.

Try using the drivers from the laptop cd or network card installer...

Try to reinstall the LAN drivers aswell from the laptop cd

you should see a box box that says show more restore points. Sounds kind of viral to me

I got no CDs with my laptop. Also no, there were no more restore points.

Did you download the drivers from the laptop manufacturers website

Okay I made it to get my drivers back now I'm back on my cable. @plaintuts I don't know because another person downloaded them for me.

Hello LallaMizu!

What I would try is to unplug the power cord connected to your desktop after shutting down properly, and press the power button 3 times, then plugging the power cord back in. If you have a laptop, take the power cord and battery out and do the same thing.

I have seen it help many laptops from a funky sleep or hibernate situation, but never a network card. Like I said no offense...

Plug your laptop to the ethernet cable to get connection then, use this site.
http://www.toshiba.eu/innovation/generic/SUPPORT_PORTAL/

Use the auto detect feature to get the correct model and drivers for the laptop.

Get the relevant wlan drivers.

The problem could possibly be driver conflict for the laptop.

Thats odd, thats a Toshiba laptop downloading drivers from a Toshiba website...

The product serial should be detected..

Anyway, I believe you can use the c50 or the c60 drivers for that
