Solution tiny voices Oct 21, 2014 That is a very low end z79 board and it doesn't support CF/SLI, which is the ONLY reason you would get a Z97 board. Either get an H97 board and spend more and get a board with SLI/CF IF you plan to need it. If not, I recommend an H97 board.

JackNaylorPE Titan BANNED Oct 30, 2004 32,255 14 99,960 Oct 21, 2014 #2 I'd suggest Z97 , Z87 was last generation and you'd likely need an older CPU to be installed first to upgrade the BIOS on the MoBo before adding that one I'd get the K version for £15 more to leave open the OC option.
