Hey!
My 'new' setup just got done, but the motherboard(ASRock H97M Pro4 P1.00) won't detect my graphics card(Raedon HD 7700) at all. It just boots on the onbord Intel graphics card. The graphics card fan is still spinning and making noise. I entered the motherboard setup(the thing where you press F2 at the start you know) and checked on the system browser if there was any PCI-E detected, but nothing was detected.
If anyone have a solution then please help me, i barely even play my games on low! :(
+ I've checked if the graphics card was loose and it wasn't...

Just regular loud fan noise. I can't hear any whining noise or something

Yeah, but it has always been on pci-e. Something i should have mentioned above.

so its not listed in your device manager?? I'm sure you done this but uninstall the cards driver if one was installed shut down discharge the board and remove the card wipe the golden fingers of the card [part that goes into the slot] to be sure there clean and reseat the card back in to the slot hook all leads back up and monitor to the card and reboot [don't hook a monitor to the boards vga/dvi/hdmi ports just to the vid card and see if it comes up

Once it was actually listed in device manager, but still didn't work. My onboard vid card was there too, so i deactivated the onboard card, shut down the pc and put the hdmi in the card(the one im trying to get working). When i turned on there was nothing on the monitor, so i switched the hdmi to the board, and then it was using some kind of other onboard vid card named 'windows driver' or something simular. Not the one i'm trying to get working.
Tomorrow i will try cleaning the golden fingers.
