I have the Graphite Series™ 760T full tower

Here are two pictures I found that will explain my issue

As you can see they're two hard drive cages right in front of the Fan's
I mean, is it a design flaw or not?

I was planning on removing them because they clutter up the case.
I wanted every one opinion.
Anybody have any suggestions

Solution
Its not a design flaw, that is why the cages are removable.

If you have 4-5 drives like many enthusiests do, then you want the intake air to hit the drives and keep them cool.

If you only have 1-2 drives then you can remove the cage you dont need and get better airflow.

Options/ability to customize is not a design flaw.

Well, thanks for clearing that up.
I'm trying to keep my system as cold as I can.
