I bought a second 770 for SLI and I put it into my system. I plugged in all the cables, put on the SLI bridge, and booted up the computer. The PC makes it into the Starting Windows screen but then it suddenly gets BSOD and crashes. I don't get this error when using only one card and I can't figure the problem out. My Rig:
AMD FX 6100 @ 3.3 stock
MSI 970-G46 Motherboard
2x NVIDIA GTX 770's
Ultra 850watt modular power supply
16 gigs Corsair Dominator RAM

One last thing, the second 770 came with a stock cooler and stock overclock while my first one has the ACX Cooler and is factory overclocked. Could this be an issue?

Sounds like either a PSU issue or a bad second card. Test the card by itself and see how it is to eliminate that.

Also you are pushing the limits of that FX 6100 processor. Two 770s have to be bottle-necking it. The FX 6100 is only a mid-range processor at best, and twin 770s in SLI is a graphical powerhouse. The 6100 would have to be holding them back.

But that's not causing your BSODs. If you have an Ultra brand PSU I would bet my next paycheck this is your issue. Ultra is a horrible brand.

Get a new PSU. 850w is enough wattage if you have a quality PSU like this:
