Hi,

This is the first computer problem I have been unable to solve in 15+ of PC troubleshooting. My computer runs fine with the default Windows 7 64-bit graphics drivers, but once I install the NVIDIA drivers for my NVIDIA GT 640, the computer will make it through POST, make it into a few seconds of the Windows loading status bar, and then the screen goes to No Input. I have done extensive troubleshooting as follows to no avail. Here is a list of my components and the troubleshooting I've attempted:

Components:
-NVIDIA GT 640 video card
-ASUS M5A99FX PRO 2.0 (latest BIOS)
-8GB G.Skill DDR3 1866 RAM
-AMD FX-6300 processor
-Crucial 256GB SSD
-Dual Acer x223w monitors (both using DVI-D cables)
-Windows 7 64-bit with all patches/hotfixes

Troubleshooting:
-Tested the video card on another computer. It works. Also tested multiple NVIDIA driver revisions with no success.
-Formatted my hard drive multiple times and tried two other hard drives with no success.
-Tried a different video card with no success.
-RMA'd the motherboard to no avail. Tried another motherboard, same issue.
-Tried different DVI and SATA cables to no avail.

Any help is GREATLY appreciated. I am beyond frustration at this point and am ready to part the computer out or use a single monitor with the default drivers :/

Update: after I connected the test monitor with a microHDMI cable, installed the NVIDIA drivers, and rebooted the computer, Windows boots! Although, video will still only play back for about five seconds and then I have to move the slider bar to a later position and then it will work for another five seconds. I am also still unclear as to why the DVI ports don't work with my existing monitors. They both support DVI-D and I have compatible cables. Any ideas? Thanks
