I have an r9 280x vapor-x and have been using it almost daily for about 9 months now
Recently I have added a second screen (possibly unrelated) but shortly after that my primary display will flicker down for a millisecond or two and then very often display things like this http://imgur.com/a/rmkA6
Disconnecting this display only causes the problem to instantly migrate to my second screen
After I while the display does come back but sometimes it looks like this http://imgur.com/a/PTuRx and more often than not will occur again very soon after
This occurs after cold boots as well and my GPU runs idle of about 45C and CPU idle of 45 with max temps of 90C when stress testing
My rig consists of
i7-4770k oc to 4.4ghz
R9 280x 3GB GDDR5 vapor x running Sapphire's default clocks for the card (1070mhz core and 1550mhz mem clock)
750W power supply
16GB 1600mhz CL9 RAM
All components are less that a year old as It was built at the same time
So please can someone help me identify what the issue is here?
