Bios will not load with all 6 gigs of memory installed. Gigabyte mobo with amd 8120 prcsr. Please help its been years since my last build.

Solution

Look at the motherboard manual and check to see how the DIMM slots are laid out. It should go A1,B1,A2,B2. You might be filling the A1,A2, and B2 slots rather than the A1,B1 and A2 slots.

Took it somewhere and it booted with one stick in. But i havent had a chance to try it at home. The cheap wireless keyboard will not let me press delete to go to bios. I have to get a wired one. Since my mobo is dual channel and i have three 2 gig sticks could that be the problem? They are all 1333 mhz. So one slot is empty.

It doesn't necessarily cause a problem but since its dual channel with 3 stick installed, it will revert to single channel which is a slower unless you install a 4th stick to make it dual channel again. If the 3 sticks aren't almost completely identical, this may cause issues but if they are all the same, there will be no issue.
