Hi
I realized that my PSU fan is not spinning after I heard the fan drag on something. My friend's dad told me that the "grill" was making the fan not spin and told me to bend it down. I did so and it's still not spinning. I don't want to RMA it because then I would be without a PC for God knows how long. Any suggestions?

First be sure that PSU isn't the type that only turns on the fan when it reaches a certain temp. Many high end PSUs are like that.
If that's not the case, the fan motor may be burned out from sitting froze in a locked rotor condition for too long. Best to bite the bullet and RMA it if that is the case.

It's weird. I heard a really loud clanking noise coming from it over the weekend. When I checked on it, the fan had started to spin again. It's spinning constantly without a problem now, I think I'll just keep it until I get the 980. :D Thanks you guys!
