PSU Fan Not Spinning

Hi
I realized that my PSU fan is not spinning after I heard the fan drag on something. My friend's dad told me that the "grill" was making the fan not spin and told me to bend it down. I did so and it's still not spinning. I don't want to RMA it because then I would be without a PC for God knows how long. Any suggestions?

First be sure that PSU isn't the type that only turns on the fan when it reaches a certain temp. Many high end PSUs are like that.
If that's not the case, the fan motor may be burned out from sitting froze in a locked rotor condition for too long. Best to bite the bullet and RMA it if that is the case.

another thing you could try, with the pc unplugged (turned off of course, or better if not connected to the pc)
try to spin the fan manually (use something made of plastic) try to feel if it can spin freely.

It's weird. I heard a really loud clanking noise coming from it over the weekend. When I checked on it, the fan had started to spin again. It's spinning constantly without a problem now, I think I'll just keep it until I get the 980.
