Samsung 840 evo and intel rapid start technology

Good morning all

I buy a Samsung 840 evo ssd 120 gb and install windows 7 64 bit.i dont use any raid and i want to ask when go install intel rapid start the answer take is your system dont requim the minimum to install this programm.any solution or need to do something in bios!!!I have mb Asus Maximus vii hero

I can't think of a good reason, but does Samsung Magician give an explanation why it's not offered? It should be at the BOTTOM of the "Rapid Mode" page and lists the requirements but I don't see any that should be an issue for you (CPU, DDR3 memory.. ).

Perhaps:
1) update firmware
2) reboot
3) check again

I've seen no noticeable difference using the Rapid Cache in real-world usage. The benchmark may show a lot higher performance but that's not reflective of actual usage.
