You don't specify if this is for playing VIDEO GAMES.
If so, your 2GB of system memory may be an issue (4GB minimum preferred) but there are a number of games that are okay with only 2GB though I'm not certain.
If Windows is 32-bit only then you should not get a video card with more than 1.5GB of video memory. Can explain if needed but it's due to the total 4GB limit for ALL of your video, system and a few other things. For example, if you got a 2GB card you can't use more than roughly 1.8GB of System RAM no matter how much is installed.
EXAMPLE (R7-260):

After rebate this card is $83 and comes with two free games (redeem codes ASAP. choose from list). It's almost certainly going to need a single 6-pin PCIe power connector which MAY work with a 4-pin MOLEX adapter depending on your power supply.
*I would ask people's advice on which games to choose based on your specs. MOST are likely too taxing for either your CPU, or lack of System memory. Titan Quest is probably fine, but Sleeping Dogs, Tomb Raider, Thief etc I severely doubt would run well.
Summary:
That's probably the best value card for an older system. I would also recommend a GTX750Ti such as the EVGA GTX750Ti 2GB (no free games) but only if you have 64-bit Windows. It's $110.
Finally, I suggest investigating how much it would cost to add 2GB to total 4GB of System RAM (again, assuming 64-bit Windows). I'm guessing that would be DDR2 but it's not clear what your setup is exactly.
Other:
SKYRIM (vanilla) maxed out at about 1.75GB of System RAM usage. With only 2GB installed I really don't know what would happen as Windows would need a minimum amount of space as well. I'm assuming you'd either crash or get a severe stuttering while trying to thrash to the hard drive instead of main memory.
Half Life 2 on the other hand would probably run fairly well on your rig with the R7-260 and only 2GB of main memory.
