I7 5820k 3.3ghz with a MSI X99S GAMING 7 ATX
or
I7 4790k 4.0ghz with a msi z97 gaming 7

I will be adding in Some NVIDIA cards in 2 way SLI so I would like that to be in mind as well.

Is there any price difference between the two picks?

I think that if you are thinking to upgrade your CPU in the future, go with the 5820k, if not, the 4790k version.

Maybe someone can give more arguments for a better choice.

If I were to ever upgrade I would just buy a new CPU and mobo.
I am more interested in which one gives more performance.

More performance for what?

If you will do 3D design/rendering, Graphic design, video editing, then the 5820k is the one to go.
If it will be mostly gaming/streaming and regular use, the 4790k is more than enough.

Give us more details about what you will do with your build.

Is DDR4 Ram available for that motherboard? I'm only finding it compatable with the I7 5820k motherboard that I have selected.
