Cpu: amd fx 8350
mobo: Asus Formula z Crosshair 5
Video Card: Nvidia geforce gt 440
Ram: Corsair 2400mhz Dimm etc.
Then, we take a random game. Minecraft, makes the giant lag spike that results in a drop of the frame to the maximum. It is a bottleneck of the Cpu? or the video card?

The graphics card is your bottleneck, the 440 is a low end card. Your processor is ok and with a 290x it wont bottleneck too bad. Your question about 290x vs 7xx cant be answered unless you say which 700 series card.

In what sense? you're telling me that it sucks the processor I have now? however, do not insult my brand new geforce gt 440 However I would opt for a r9 290x or a gtx 7xx what do you choose?
