Looking for the best motherboard for the intel pentium g3258.

I was wondering what the best motherboard would be for the intel pentium g3258 at under $100, I also want to overclock it. Preferably asus if its the best.

MSI H97 GAMING 3 is around the 100 bucks and is a great mb for overclocking

the above is a toms article using an msi $50 board

if going this cheap on CPU then you need to get the cheapest board possible so you can sink everything into a GPU like a used 7950 or a r9 280.

No H81 board generally doesn't comes with SLI or CF support.

You can get this one supports crossfire and you can OC the Processor in it.

you cannot do crossfire or SLI with that CPU. that chip will not power a multi -GPU setup. you have to go for the motherboards that were recommended before.

unless you plan on upgrading your CPU and GPU later and even then i would venture you could sell your new build and go with the newest tech at tthatt point considering that you would spending $200 for a CPU and whatever you would be considering for your GPU. spend $500 now and get the $300 out of it later and start a new build.

thatt CPU will barely power a r9 280x as it is
