Radeon R9 280 buzzing sound when playing games

I have a problem with my Radeon R9 280 and every time I play a game the card makes a strange buzzing sound. This also happens when using 3D modelling software like Zbrush and Modo. When I load a game the buzzing sound starts but when I save an close it the sound stops. It does not sound like a fan noise I have never had the problem with previous AMD cards. Is this nomal or is my card faulty?

Some coils even from the same batch will vibrate under certain conditions.This can also happen with motherboards as well when the systems power savings feature is doing its thing.It should not harm anything.
