1440x900 resolution ugly on my 19inch TCL TV Monitor. But 1360x768 looks fine

I used my old HD 4670 video card with HDMI port and connect it on my 19inch TV monitor.

Tried every resolution but only 1360x768 looks fine and it is the recommended res. but it has 1920x1080 res on the choices.

Text look ugly and the color sucks if not in 1360x768 res.

Updated the video card drivers and used VGA chord but image quality sucks more with VGA.

Recommended = native.

Always use the native resolution on LCD monitors or any number of weird stuff can happen, mostly image quality related.

so you mean thats the only res i can use? even if i bought a new video card GTX 750ti or r7 260x? it wont fix the problem?

yes it won't fix the problem, that's your native resolution and you should stick with it.

Yep, a new graphics card will not fix the issue, only a new monitor will, which would mean you need a more powerful graphics card to run the higher resolution too.
