I'm unable to format my 16 gb Firebird usb sandisk pendrive.I hav used both regedit and diskpart methods.is there any software available to remove Write-protection from my pendrive.

Solution
Open cmd and type "format driveletter:"
So if your pendrive's drive letter is "F:" type "format F:"

If that doesn't work go to
Start -> Computer -> Right Click your pendrive -> Choose "Sharing" tab -> tick "share this folder" -> Click "Permission" -> Allow "Full Control" for Everyone and then try to format it again.

Press Windows key+R, type regedit. go to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\StorageDevicePolicies, double click the DWORD value and change its value to 0. If the StorageDevicePolicies key does not exist then you need to create it. Right click Control select new and then key. Name the newly created key as StorageDevicePolicies, right click the key and add a DWORD value and set its value to 0.
