Hi guys, I have recently acquired a 32gb SSD for free and I would like to use it as caching for my 1tb HDD. I have an ASUS Z77-V mobo and I have looked around but I can't find out what settings to change in the BIOS. I installed IRST drivers and the performance tab just doesn't show up.

Please help.
Thanks

Does the motherboard support Intels Rapid Storage Technology?

If it does: download the program from intels hompage, set your SATA controller to "RAID" in BIOS (you might have to fiddle a bit if the OS was installed while the SATA controller was set to "ACHI".

Intels solution works like a charm - but as I said, check the motherboard for compatibility before doing anything else.
