I'm looking to upgrade the memory on my Primergy fujitsu rx3000 s3 server.
There are 8 memory modules in 2 blocks.
Currently Module 1A failed, 2A enabled, 1B failed, 2B enabled, 1C failed, 2C enabled, 1D failed, 2D enabled
Only the 2x 2GB memory sticks (PC2-5300F DDR2) in slots 2A and 2B the system reads and function.
4x 512MB sticks in 1A, 1B, 1C and 1D are not being read.
Is this because they are the wrong type?
I'd like 16Gb now, so do I get 2x 8GB sticks, and which slots do I put them in?
Or more sticks in more slots?
