Hey guys!
I've got a SteelSeries Kinzu, and I'm really happy with it, except for some things:
1. Some Mouse 3 clicks register as multiple clicks.
2. It sometimes stops working for about 3-5 seconds then starts working normally again.(even though the optical light is still on)
3. Occasionally flips the Profanity removed - SS out and only moves through the borders of the screen. This bug is fixed by replugging the mouse.
4. It has lags sometimes and stops moving for a split-second and then moves really quick.

I have tried the solutions available in SS's site: use the kinzu driver, change power settings to disable selective suspending of usb devices and ports. Some front USB panel seems to have less issues than the back panel. However I dont believe it is a port problem, since I have a network adapter and keyboard plugged and they never had issues.

I was thinking it's probably a cable problem, but the cord is braided so it couldn't really be damaged, could it?

Thanks in advance!

My motherboard is an Asus P8H61-M. I've been looking for the USB drivers on the website, but I couldn't really find any. It says the USB has a built-in controller, does it have to do with that?
Built-in Controller :
10 x USB 2.0 port(s) (6 at back panel, black, 4 at mid-board)

I am using Windows 8.1 64-bit. I tried updating the BIOS, but I couldn't. I downloaded the BIOS and the Bios updater from asus website, and then i tried:
1) Updating from the EZ Flash 2 upon startup, by accessing the bios. This failed, as there was an error reading the file.(I used a usb flash drive to do it)
2) Using bios updater that asus provided. This also failed, because it says the bupdater.exe is not compatible with my system.(when i try to directly start it). When I use cmd to start it, it says it's not a 64 bit app, even though I selected the 64-bit from the asus site dropdown.
EDIT: Ever since I tried to do this, the computer randomly crashes when watching videos or playing. I get a sound loop for a few seconds and then it goes into a kind of static sound(really loud) and the image completely freezes.
