My current pc has an i5 3340 3.1 GHz processor, onboard graphics, 8gb of ram and a tb of hard drive space.
The thing is my PSU is only 250 wats and I'm planning on getting a Saphire 2gb Radeon r9 270 graphics card which has a requirement of 500 wats, and that's just the graphics card.
I don't plan on overclocking anything so that's not an issue, however I wanted to know if 600 wats would be enough or if I need to go all the way to seven hundred a fifty, money is kind of an issue as I'm getting the graphics card for my birthday from my parents (Only fourteen) but if 750 wats is a necessity I can always convince them to make the PSU an early christmas present so really I just want to know how much power I need to run this system without it blowing.
Thanks
