I have my power options at Balanced Power, And if I don't keep the Maximum Processor State at 50% the computer will begin with a ticking sound then shut down. The Default setting is at 100% which causes a problem only during a game. Do you think I need a better and bigger power supply because the problem is Manageing the Maximum processor state under power options.

Also check your BIOS power options settings.. it's possible the CPU thermal control is set to low.. this setting is supposed to slow the CPU down and shut it down if it reaches the pre-set temp. The Windows power options also have this setting but the BIOS settings should take precedence.
