Is It better and whats the diffrence

So I wanted to sli but after lots of augments i have decided to get the 970 and sli at a later point.

I heard the paliet just meant it have a stock fan?
Does it perform the same
I have a pretty cool setup so not to worried about heat so is it a good choice.
I wanted to Sli the 660 but i dont know????

It performs the same. Unless you're going to compare it to EVGA's SC versions and stuff like that which come overclocked out the box. But you'll be fine with a 970. And SLI'ing 660's is not gonna be worth the extra hassell (more heat, more energy)...

And SLI'ing 660's is not gonna be worth the extra hassell (more heat, more energy) and you're not really getting any performance boost, as 2 of them I don't think can even match up to a single 970.. I could be wrong, but if it does its minimal.
